Sauvage Elixir is the 2021 high-concentration extension of the Sauvage franchise. The composition shares Sauvage's aromatic-spicy DNA but pushes the spices forward and trades the original's ambroxan brightness for a denser, drier base. Grapefruit opens alongside cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and sichuan pepper for a sharp, slightly bitter top. The heart adds lavender and patchouli depth. The base anchors on licorice (the defining note that distinguishes Elixir from the EDT and EDP), sandalwood, amber, and a residual ambroxan hum. Performance is heavier than the parent franchise: ten plus hours on skin with extrait-level projection in the first three.
