Refund policy
Thank you for shopping at Parfum Central. We strive to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction. Please read this policy carefully before requesting a return or refund.
1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds
We accept returns and issue refunds only under the following conditions.
Unopened and Sealed Condition Only
The product must be in its original sealed packaging with all original seals, caps, wrappers, and protective covers intact (factory sealed). The product must be unused, with no signs of tampering or opening.
Defective or Damaged Items
Returns are accepted for serious defects, damages, or manufacturing faults present at the time of delivery (e.g. broken vial, leakage, cracked packaging, incorrect fragrance). Cosmetic imperfections such as minor scratches on packaging or slight misalignment are evaluated case by case. We reserve the right to refuse returns for trivial or insignificant issues.
Time Limit for Returns
You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return. Returns initiated outside this 14-day window may be refused.
After we issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA), please ship the product back promptly using a trackable courier. We will provide full return instructions, including the destination address, in the RMA confirmation email.
Proof and Evidence Required
You must provide your original order number, invoice, and clear photo evidence of the defect, damage, or condition of the package. We may also request video at the time of unboxing or condition on arrival.
Exclusions and Non-Returnable Items
Opened, used, or partially used products are not eligible for return or refund. Clearance, sale, or discounted items are final sale unless defective. Products with broken seals or removed labels are not eligible. Sample sets and discovery boxes are non-returnable once opened.
2. How to Initiate a Return
Contact Us
Email contact@parfumcentral.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number, product name, reason for return, and photo or video evidence of any defect.
Return Authorisation (RMA)
We review every request and respond within 2 business days. If approved, we issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number with full return instructions, including the destination address.
Packaging and Shipping Back
Use original packaging or protective packaging to avoid further damage in transit. Clearly label the RMA on the outside of the package. Ship the product back using a trackable courier method.
3. Shipping Costs and Responsibility
For defective or damaged items, Parfum Central covers the cost of return shipping. We will email you a downloadable prepaid return label, or reimburse you for reasonable shipping costs once proof of payment is provided.
For all other eligible returns (unopened and sealed items, change of mind, or buyer's remorse), the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping using a trackable courier of their choice.
Any customs, duties, or taxes on the return shipment are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Refunds and Processing
Once we receive the item and inspect it, we notify you whether your return is approved. If approved, we process the refund (full or partial) to the original payment method within 14 business days. Bank or card processing may add a further 1 to 5 business days before the refund appears on your statement.
The refunded amount may deduct any non-recoverable fees (e.g. original outbound shipping) only if previously disclosed. We do not offer exchanges.
5. Restocking and Deductions
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10% in cases where the product condition is questionable or additional handling is required. If the product arrives in damaged or non-resalable condition beyond the original defect, we may reduce the refund accordingly or refuse the return.
6. Lost or Damaged Return Shipments
You are responsible for ensuring the item is safely shipped (insured and trackable). If the return shipment is lost or damaged in transit and no proof of successful delivery is provided, we cannot issue a refund. If we provided a prepaid return label and the package is lost before arrival, we will assist in tracking and liaising with the carrier.
7. International and Cross-Border Returns
International return shipments must comply with export and import rules in both origin and destination countries. The customer is responsible for any customs, duty, or taxes on the return shipment unless we agree otherwise in writing. Refunds exclude original tax or duty costs unless we determine the product was defective.
8. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time for new orders. The version of this policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your rights.
