Every Parfum Central order ships fully insured via DHL Express, with tracking sent at despatch. The rates, lead times, and country list below reflect the current shipping zone configuration.
Rates are flat regardless of order weight or value. Insurance covering the full retail value of the consignment is included on every order.
All international orders ship through DHL Express on the perfume Dangerous Goods (DG) service classes. Perfume is classified as DG under IATA air-freight rules because of alcohol content; this means we cannot use standard air-mail or ground services for international orders. DHL Express handles the DG classification, customs paperwork, and consignment routing end to end.
The 132-country eligibility list comes directly from the DHL Express rate API. We probe DHL's pricing for a representative perfume consignment every Sunday at 02:00 UTC; the destinations that return a valid DG-perfume rate (DHL service codes HK and HE) appear in our shipping zone. Destinations that do not accept DG by air, that require special export permits beyond the consignment-level paperwork, or whose customs authorities prohibit personal alcohol-content imports are excluded.
Orders placed before noon UAE time on a business day are despatched the same business day. Orders placed after noon, on weekends, or on UAE public holidays are despatched on the next business day. You receive a DHL Express tracking link by email at despatch; if the link has not arrived within 48 hours of order placement, contact us directly.
These windows are typical, not guaranteed. Customs clearance, local DHL handling, and weather or carrier events at hub airports can extend the timeline. Tracking provides the current state of the consignment at every step.
Parfum Central prepares all export paperwork on the UAE side and pre-loads the DG declaration, commercial invoice, and consignment documentation with DHL. Import duties, customs handling fees, and local taxes (VAT, GST, or equivalent) in the destination country are the responsibility of the receiver per international shipping convention. If customs clearance requires additional information, DHL contacts the receiver directly; we can support with documentation requests routed through our contact channel.
For damaged-on-arrival or defective items, see the returns and refunds policy. Photos of the outer shipping packaging are required within 48 hours for any DHL Express insurance claim.
