Oud Maracuja is Maison Crivelli's study in contrast: passion fruit (maracuja) brings bright tropical acidity against oud's dark, woody-resinous depth. Passion fruit in the opening contributes a tart, slightly citrusy-floral quality that is lighter and more acidic than most fruit materials; saffron adds warm, metallic-rich character that bridges the fruit toward the darker base.
Turkish rose in the heart provides warm, rich floral depth; leather introduces animalic dryness. Oud provides woody-resinous depth; akigalawood (a Givaudan patented material combining woody and patchouli-like qualities) adds modern earthy depth.
