APoM (A Part of Me) was originally created by Francis Kurkdjian in 2009 as a personal fragrance before being released commercially. Orange blossom in the opening provides honeyed white-floral warmth with a slightly waxy quality; lavender adds clean, aromatic-herbal character that cools the floral. Together they create a warm, slightly clean-floral opening before the iris develops.
Iris in the heart provides powdery, slightly root-woody floral depth; it bridges the opening florals to the base without reading as heavily cosmetic. Amber in the base provides warm, resinous support; musk extends the drydown close to skin; sandalwood adds creamy wood structure.
