About Tom Ford Tuscan Leather

Harry Fremont composed Tuscan Leather in 2007 for Tom Ford's Private Blend collection. The raspberry top is intentional provocation: its jammy sweetness sits against the dry suede accord below, the contrast lifting what could have been a simple leather study into something more dimensional and slightly transgressive.

Saffron adds metallic warmth through the middle, a note that pairs naturally with leather's animal register. Olibanum in the base pushes the drydown toward a dark, smoky character alongside amber. Longevity is exceptional: the suede-saffron core persists for ten or more hours.
