Creed's 2023 reworking of Aventus pushes the cult pineapple DNA into darker, spicier territory: nutmeg and cloves over the grapefruit and bergamot opening, cinnamon and cardamom carrying the heart, with patchouli, vetiver, and ambroxan grounding the base, for men.
Absolu Aventus is Creed's 2023 reinterpretation of the 2010 Aventus, designed to extend the franchise into colder weather and dressier evening wear. The opening keeps the recognisable Aventus DNA (grapefruit, bergamot, blackcurrant, lemon, pink pepper, pineapple) and layers in nutmeg and cloves for weight. The heart turns to ginger, cardamom, citron, cinnamon, and rose, building a spice axis the original never had. The base follows the Millesime signature: patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, ambroxan, sandalwood, and tonka bean. Projection is heavy in the first three hours and ten to twelve hours total on skin.
Absolu Aventus suits autumn and winter from afternoon through evening. The cinnamon and patchouli combination reads most clearly in cool air. A fragrance suited to formal occasions and evening wear.
