Divine Attraction from Initio's Absolute collection is a study in restraint. The leather accord is present from the first spray: dry and clean rather than animalic or suede, closer to a polished hide than to the sweeter leather accords found in mainstream fragrances. There is no conventional top note phase of citrus or spice.
Vetiver and cedarwood in the heart add earthy and woody depth to the leather without softening it. Cedarwood provides dry, linear structure; vetiver adds a rooty, slightly smoky dimension that extends the leather's character. Musk and amber in the base extend the composition for six to eight hours, keeping the projection moderate and the fragrance close to the skin from the second hour.
