Akigalawood is a modern material with a woody, patchouli-like character: Parfums de Marly's Valaya opens on bergamot, mandarin and white peach before orange blossom and white flowers settle over white musks, akigalawood, vanilla and vetiver, for women.

About Parfums de Marly Valaya EDP

Valaya EDP is structured around a white floral heart of orange blossom anchored by a modern base of akigalawood and white musks. Bergamot in the opening provides citrus brightness; mandarin adds warm, sweet citrus and white peach a soft fruit note. Together the opening creates a clean, luminous introduction before the floral heart develops.

Orange blossom in the heart provides fresh, luminous floral character, joined by a white flowers accord; it reads as delicate and spring-like. Vetiver in the base adds faint earthy grounding; white musks provide clean, soft depth; akigalawood (a Givaudan patented material combining woody and patchouli-like qualities) adds modern earthy depth; vanilla softens the drydown.
