What Amouage Boundless is

Amouage Boundless is an Eau de Parfum in the Odyssey Collection, the same line as Amouage Purpose, Decision, Existence and the original Guidance. This is how the house describes it:

Here the house gives an exact figure: Amouage states a 25% oil concentration and eight weeks of ageing, five weeks of maceration and three of maturation.

Amouage itself was founded in the Sultanate of Oman in 1983 by the Albusaidi family, in the house's words "to be 'The Gift of Kings'". This perfume carries both frankincense and myrrh in its base.

What does Amouage Boundless smell like?

Boundless opens bright and spiced, then settles into a sweet, resinous base. The house lists fourteen notes across three stages, and the base is the largest part of the pyramid.

Blood orange is sweeter and redder than ordinary orange, with a slight berry tone. Here it sits next to cardamom and ginger, so the opening reads as spiced fruit rather than plain citrus.

Elemi is a resin from a tropical tree. It smells lemony and peppery, and it bridges the citrus top and the resins further down.

Vanilla bourbon takes its name from the Île Bourbon, the old name for Réunion, and is grown on the islands of the Indian Ocean. With benzoin, a balsamic resin, it forms the heart.

Cocoa and tobacco give the base its dark, slightly bitter warmth. Myrrh and frankincense add smoke, and oakmoss and vetiver keep the finish dry.

Some fragrance sites also list guaiac wood. The brand's own pyramid does not, so we have left it out.

Is Amouage Boundless discontinued?

The house has not announced that Boundless is discontinued. Here is what we could verify on 18 October 2026:

1. The product page on the brand's own site is still live, but shows it as unavailable.
2. Some retailers show it as sold out, and at least one titles its listing "(Discontinued)".
3. A thread on the fragrance forum Basenotes is titled "Amouage Boundless discontinued!", but the claims in it have not been confirmed by the house.

So it is hard to find and may be leaving the range, but the house has said nothing either way. Searches for "amouage boundless discontinued" have roughly doubled over the last three months, which tells you how many people are asking.
