Returns & Refunds

Parfum Central stands behind the authenticity and condition of every fragrance we ship. The return policy below sets out what is eligible, what is not, and the timelines that apply.

Eligibility: 7-Day Return Window for Unopened Items

Unopened, untampered, factory-sealed fragrances may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided all of these hold:

  • The cellophane wrap is intact and unbroken.
  • The outer presentation box is undamaged and unmarked.
  • The bottle, cap, atomiser, and protective inserts are untouched.
  • The batch code on the base is unchanged from when we shipped the unit.

Opened, used, partially used, or de-sealed fragrances are not eligible for return under any circumstances. This is industry standard for perfume retail and is dictated by hygiene and resale-integrity rules, not by Parfum Central preference.

Damaged or Defective Items: 48-Hour Reporting Window

If your order arrives damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect (wrong fragrance, broken bottle, leaking atomiser, cracked outer box), report it within 48 hours of delivery by emailing contact@parfumcentral.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damage or defect on the bottle
  • Photos of the outer shipping packaging (this is critical for DHL Express insurance claims)

For verified damaged-in-transit or defective items, we cover return shipping and offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion. Every order ships fully insured via DHL Express; the photos are needed to file the carrier claim.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns within the 7-day window, the customer pays return shipping; for damaged-on-arrival or defective items, Parfum Central pays. We recommend a tracked, insured return service for any change-of-mind return; we are not liable for items lost or damaged on the way back.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. We do not offer exchanges, only refunds. Refund amounts cover the product price; original outbound shipping is non-refundable for change-of-mind returns but is refunded in full for damaged or defective items.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened, used, de-sealed, or partially used fragrances
  • Products with broken or removed manufacturer seals
  • Final-sale, clearance, or discontinued-stock items (clearly marked on the product page)
  • Custom-sourced bottles fulfilled through the private-sourcing service

How to Start a Return

Email contact@parfumcentral.com or message via WhatsApp with your order number and the reason for the return. The team replies within one business day with return instructions and the correct return address.
