About Chanel Bleu de Chanel EDT

Jacques Polge composed Bleu de Chanel in 2010, building it around a tension between citrus brightness and woody-aromatic depth. Lemon and pink pepper open cleanly; ginger and nutmeg add dry spice through the middle without tipping toward orientalism. The incense note is structural rather than ceremonial, giving the base a grey, slightly smoky quality.

Cedar and vetiver anchor the drydown alongside labdanum, which adds resinous warmth extending well past the citrus opening. The EDT version is lighter and more casual than the EDP or Parfum concentrations, projecting freshness for four to six hours with a cedarwood skin scent lingering past that. An adaptable composition with no specific occasion requirement.
