About Dior Homme Parfum

Dior Homme Parfum, reinvented in 2025 by Francis Kurkdjian, takes the iris core that has defined the Dior Homme line since 2005 and delivers it at the highest concentration. Italian iris in the opening provides the powdery, slightly rooty-cool quality that made the original Dior Homme a reference in masculine perfumery; the orris root is processed into a concrete with a complex, multi-faceted character.

An ambery accord of dense patchouli and powerful vetiver, with coumarin and dry accents of cut hay, pushes the composition beyond floral-powdery into a darker register. The iris rhizome is softened by the tender accents of its petals. Patchouli and vetiver give the parfum concentration its distinctive weight. Ten to twelve hours on skin.
