Sichuan pepper and cassis in the top give the opening a sharp, slightly berry-tinged freshness with spice rather than the heavier citrus or incense openings common to leather-rose compositions. The combination reads clean and modern.

    Rose in the heart and leather in the base work in parallel rather than in sequence: the leather accord (a reconstructed material using birch tar, isobutyl quinoline, and labdanum elements) provides the structure while rose, likely a Bulgarian absolute, provides the softness that prevents the leather from reading as industrial.
