About Fragrance Du Bois Secret Tryst

Secret Tryst opens with bergamot, saffron, and cardamom: bergamot provides a light citrus opening while saffron adds immediate metallic warmth; cardamom contributes mild spice. The saffron from the opening gives this composition more depth than a standard citrus-spice introduction.

Rose, jasmine, cedar, and vetiver in the heart form a layered floral-woody accord: rose and jasmine provide classical Oriental florals while cedar and vetiver add dry wood-and-earth depth. Patchouli, frankincense, vanilla, and labdanum in the base are four traditional Oriental base materials: patchouli for earthy depth, frankincense for dry resinous smoke, labdanum for warm animal-resinous sweetness, vanilla for soft sweetness.
