Fragrance Du Bois Heritage
Fragrance Du Bois Heritage is "a luxurious jasmine perfume of remarkable depth and projection", in the brand's words, "a delicate but defiant powdery vintage floral" with "a touch of natural Oud." It is by François Merle-Baudoin.
The house lists bergamot and aldehydes at the top, orris, jasmine, frankincense and a floral accord at the heart, and cedarwood, sandalwood, vanilla, oud and a woody accord in the base. Think of it as a jasmine and iris perfume warmed by oud, not an oud perfume with flowers. 100 ml, AED 2,400.
Fragrance Du Bois Sahraa
Fragrance Du Bois Sahraa is the house's desert perfume, also by François Merle-Baudoin. The brand calls it "a celebration of Middle Eastern opulence" and "a much-lauded cult fragrance", ending on "a warm amber-oud finale."
Grapefruit opens it, rose absolute, geranium, jasmine and patchouli form the heart, and black pepper, sandalwood, saffron, vanilla, amber and oud make the base. The richest of the ten, and the one for rose and oud lovers. 100 ml, AED 3,100.
Fragrance Du Bois Parisian
Fragrance Du Bois Parisian is Christian Provenzano's "love letter to the city of lights", in his words, "an authentic tribute to the modern home of perfumery" according to the house.
Pink pepper, cardamom, grapefruit and almond open it; rose, geranium, jasmine, oud and leather form the heart; and frankincense, moss, cistus, labdanum, sandalwood, patchouli, musk and amber finish it. A classic rose chypre feel with oud at its centre. 100 ml, AED 2,150.
Oud Bleu Intense
Fragrance Du Bois Oud Bleu Intense comes from Shades Du Bois, the range of colour-named ouds, and is by Guillaume Flavigny. The brand calls it "an exquisite marine-inspired fragrance full of intriguing contradiction... a cool breeze that caresses the skin before enveloping its subject in a blanket of velvety warmth."
Cardamom, nutmeg and mandarin open it, frankincense, cistus, myrrh and amber follow, and opoponax, styrax, benzoin and oud settle underneath. The freshest way into oud in the house. 100 ml, AED 1,850.

Fragrance Du Bois Santal Complet is "an ode to endless summers" by François Merle-Baudoin. The house describes "buttery sandalwood" and "exotic coconut and drizzled lemon" in the opening.
Lemon and coconut at the top, violet and black pepper at the heart, musk, sandalwood, amber and vanilla in the base. Creamy, sunny and easy to wear, with no oud at all. 100 ml, AED 1,375.

Fragrance Du Bois Solstis is "a scent for all seasons", the house says, charting "the celestial energy of the longest and shortest days." (It is often searched as "Solstice".)
Apple, mandarin, bergamot and pink pepper open it; nutmeg, neroli, pepper and cardamom make the heart; sandalwood, vanilla and Japanese vetiver finish it. The brightest of the ten, and a strong everyday choice in warm weather. 100 ml, AED 1,375.
Fragrance Du Bois Cannabis Blue
Fragrance Du Bois Cannabis Blue is by Christian Provenzano, who calls it "creative rebellion." The house describes a "unique cannabis accord", a synthetic note, that runs through "this herbaceous blend of woody guaiac and earthy patchouli, tempering invigorating eucalyptus and aromatic cardamom."
Cardamom, elemi, eucalyptus, Sichuan pepper and grapefruit open it; the cannabis accord, nutmeg and sage form the heart; oud, guaiac wood, patchouli and cedarwood make the base. Green, spicy and unusual. 100 ml, AED 1,250.

Fragrance Du Bois Milano belongs to Fashion Capitals and is by Shadi Samra. The brand describes "a liquefied expression of glamour, high society and impeccable class", opening with "native Sicilian bergamot and zesty orange."
