    About Louis Vuitton Pur Oud - Pure Perfumes

    Pur Oud is one of Louis Vuitton's three Pure Perfumes, alongside Pur Ambre and Pur Santal, the UAE exclusive of the trio. Louis Vuitton describes the line as "inspired by the tradition of layering several fragrances".

    Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud used just three ingredients here. The oud essence is "an immoderate dose of 10% of the formula", set in "a cocoon of white musks". It comes in a 100ml bottle.

    Louis Vuitton's own layering advice is that "there are no absolute rules". A simple start: Pur Oud on the pulse points, then Pur Santal over it to soften the oud, or Pur Ambre for a salty, mineral warmth.
