Gentle Fluidity Gold EDP is one half of Francis Kurkdjian's 2019 olfactive experiment: two perfumes using the same six materials, juniper berries, nutmeg, coriander, musks, amberwood, and vanilla, in different proportions to produce different olfactive impressions. Gold takes the warmer, sweeter reading. Juniper berries in the opening provide dry, slightly piney-aromatic character; nutmeg adds warm, slightly sharp spice; coriander contributes green-spicy freshness.
In Gold, vanilla in the base reads prominently from relatively early in the development, providing sweet, creamy warmth. Amberwood contributes warm, woody-resinous depth; musks extend the drydown and add clean projection.
