About Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks

Apple Brandy on the Rocks is Kilian's second entry in the Liquors series, taking apple brandy (calvados) as its reference point. Bergamot and pineapple create the opening: bergamot provides citrus brightness; pineapple adds tropical fruitiness that reads in context as fresh apple spirit rather than simple fruit. Cardamom contributes clean, aromatic spice; rum adds boozy, sweet-molasses depth.

Cedarwood in the heart adds dry, woody structure. Ambroxan in the base is an ambergris-derived material with clean, mineral-musky warmth that extends the composition's trail. Vanilla provides sweet depth; moss adds the earthy, slightly medicinal chypre character. Eight to ten hours on skin.
