Cade oil is the tarry distillate of juniper wood, the ingredient that gives smoked leather its character: Oman Luxury's Caden EDP opens on saffron and cardamom before cade and coffee settle over benzoin and tonka, for men.

About Oman Luxury Caden EDP

Caden EDP is structured around cade oil, a material from the controlled pyrolysis of juniper wood. In perfumery, cade provides a tarry, smoky, slightly medicinal quality associated with smoked leather. Saffron in the opening adds metallic-warm richness; cardamom contributes clean, aromatic spice. Boozy notes provide a slightly fermented depth that reinforces the cade's dark character.

Coffee adds bitter-roasted depth in the heart, extending the dark, tarry direction. Suede provides a softer leather alternative; cistus (labdanum) adds balsamic, slightly animalic warmth. The base of benzoin, tonka, vanilla, amberwood, guaiac wood, and labdanum creates a warm, sweet-resinous foundation that grounds the smoky-tarry opening in lasting depth. Ten to twelve hours on skin.
