I ordered a fragrance as a gift and it arrived in perfect condition. The whole process was simple, fast, and stress-free. Fantastic product and fantastic service.
Hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis) yields almost no usable absolute through traditional extraction, so perfumers build the hyacinth accord using phenylacetaldehyde, cinnamic alcohol, hydroxycitronellal, and supporting green-floral molecules to capture the bittersweet, slightly metallic green character of the fresh-cut flower. The result reads sharper than muguet and more spring-cold than rose, with a faint nutty undertone that distinguishes the accord. Hyacinth anchored classical compositions including Guerlain Chamade (1969), Caron Aimez-Moi, and several Patou releases, and continues to appear in modern niche releases that reach for the green-spring-floral effect. It pairs especially well with galbanum, violet leaf, narcissus, and freesia for cold-floral compositions. Wears best in spring and early autumn.
