Lysylang

Lysylang is a Givaudan captive molecule with a smooth, slightly resinous-floral profile that sits between ylang-ylang and a softer lactonic note. Because it is a proprietary captive (exclusive to Givaudan-supplied formulators), compositions that use it carry a distinctive character not easily replicated by other houses. The molecule works best as a heart-note bridge between bright florals and richer woody-amber bases. Ex Nihilo's Gold Immortals line is built around lysylang; both Gold Immortals EDP and Gold Immortals Extrait at Parfum Central carry it as the central heart accord.
