Absolu Aventus is an intense expression of the 2010 Aventus. It opens with Calabrian bergamot, ginger and grapefruit, bright and slightly sharp. Cardamom brings warmth and tension to the heart, joined by cinnamon and the signature pineapple accord, before the fragrance moves into a rich, spiced, smoky trail. Labdanum anchors the base with resinous depth, with vetiver and patchouli beside it.
Absolu Aventus suits autumn and winter from afternoon through evening. The cinnamon and patchouli combination reads most clearly in cool air. A fragrance suited to formal occasions and evening wear. Projection is heavy in the first three hours and ten to twelve hours total on skin.
