Sex and the Sea is a beach fragrance rewritten as something considerably more intimate. Coconut and pineapple set up the expected suntan opening, then mimosa, immortelle, rose and iris pull it somewhere powdery and strange.
The base carries the house signature. Sandalwood, myrrh, labdanum and benzoin sit beneath a pronounced ambergris accord, giving a salty, skin-like warmth that reads less like sea air than like sun-warmed skin.
