About Laboratorio Olfattivo Vetyverso EDP

Vetyverso (vetiver + universe) places vetiver at the center of its construction. Carnation, nutmeg and bitter orange in the top create a spiced, bright opening that frames the vetiver; grapefruit in the heart has a bitter, tart quality that complements the earthy character of the root rather than fighting it. The transition from the citrus opening to the vetiver heart is the composition's central movement.

Vetiver is an earthy, smoky, slightly woody material from the root of the grass Chrysopogon zizanioides; it is used in both mass-market fragrances and niche compositions for its tenacity and complexity. Black pepper and pink pepper add dry, sharp spice around the root. Cedar, clary sage, sandalwood and white musks in the base round the vetiver's dry quality with warmth. Eight to ten hours on skin.
