French Leather is the daylight member of the Memo leather line. Lime, juniper berry and pink pepper open bright and dry, a genuinely fresh start that sets it apart from the oud-heavy leathers beside it.
Rose and hay at the heart give it a pastoral, faintly agricultural quality, hay being the note that carries its character. The base is a suede accord rather than a hard leather one: soft, powdery and close to the skin. It reads more like the inside of a new glove than a tannery, and that restraint makes it far easier to wear in daylight.
