Tiziana Terenzi perfumes come from a family of candle makers. The Italian house grew out of Cereria Terenzi, the candle company the Terenzi grandparents founded in 1968, and today siblings Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi turn the same craft into extraits named after stars, seaside towns and family memories. Who is Tiziana Terenzi?
The brand describes itself as the meeting of "the ancient knowledge of three generations of Master chandlers and Perfumers and the most innovative design." The family still makes candles, with a wooden wick that "reproduces the crackling of a fireplace", and the house is based at Cattolica on Italy's Adriatic coast, in Romagna.
The story starts with the grandparents. Bigia's page tells it: the perfume "originates from the creativity of Grandpa Gumìn and is dedicated to Donna Luigia, his beloved wife", "the woman who founded Cereria Terenzi with him in 1968." Their grandchildren Tiziana and Paolo now lead the creative work, which the brand calls "the creative brainchild of Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi." Tiziana is also a jewellery designer, and the bottles show it.

The Anniversary perfumes are made in a limited yearly run: "the recipe itself remains the same although, each year, it gets the sublime touch of nature." The Luna Stars take the house's constellation perfumes apart into single stars, designed to be layered.

Tiziana Terenzi Bigia
Tiziana Terenzi Bigia is the family's own perfume. "Bigia, as Grandpa lovingly called her", is Donna Luigia, and the brand calls it "the regal and precious perfume that once was used only for great occasions."
The house describes saffron resting "on a base of white oud macerated for 20 years with Bulgarian rose absolute", with precious ambers, "the fruity notes of our beautiful Italy", a wild-flower heart and rare musks. Warm, fruity and rich, and, like every Anniversary perfume, unisex. 100 ml, AED 1,170.
Tiziana Terenzi Burdel
Tiziana Terenzi Burdel, which the brand spells Burdèl, is "a typical dialectal word of our city that means 'boys' and 'girls'": young people "full of life and joy in their hearts" on "the sea of the Romagna Riviera where Paolo and Tiziana often sail."
Cumin, cardamom, cistus and bergamot open it; gurjum balm, cypriol, guaiac wood and lily of the valley form the heart; musk, vanilla, ambergris, Laotian white oud and sandalwood make the base. Spicy and woody. 100 ml, AED 1,220.

Tiziana Terenzi Kirke
Tiziana Terenzi Kirke (Kirkè) is named after the goddess Circe of the Odyssey and a coastal park south of Rome, "like a mermaid's song or the melody that the goddess Circe used to attract her victims." The house celebrated Kirkè's tenth anniversary in 2025.
The brand names passion fruit, peach and pear, raspberry and cassis, lily of the valley, sand, heliotropin, patchouli and musk wood. Juicy fruit over a soft, powdery base, and the easiest way into the house. 100 ml, AED 795.
Tiziana Terenzi Tyrenum
Tiziana Terenzi Tyrenum is inspired by Trani in Puglia, once called Tyrenum, "the beauty that looks over the sea", where "Paolo and Tiziana's search for the scent of salt continues."
Bergamot, orange, osmanthus, green tea and caramel open it; sea breeze, Adriatic salt, pink and black pepper and cardamom form the heart; olive wood, patchouli, musk, ambergris, "Trani stone" and vanilla make the base. A salty, sunny perfume with a sweet edge. 100 ml, AED 1010.
Tiziana Terenzi Akragas
Tiziana Terenzi Akragas takes the ancient name of Agrigento in Sicily, home of the Valley of the Temples, and goes "in search of the scent of salt and its infinite facets." Tyrenum's sister perfume, drier and more aromatic.
The brand lists Sicilian myrtle, seaweed, grapefruit and neroli at the top, a heart where "Agrigento Salt is the dominant and reverberating note" with cedar, red thyme and geranium, and benzoin, musk, patchouli and vanilla in the base. 100 ml, AED 1010.
The Luna Stars: Arrakis, Cas and Talitha
Tiziana Terenzi Arrakis
Tiziana Terenzi Arrakis is named after "a binary star system in the Draco constellation", and the house says it has "two distinct characters of contrasting intensity."
Sicilian grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, thyme, rosemary, osmanthus and saffron open it; vetiver, Virginia tobacco, patchouli and guaiac form the heart; tonka, ambergris, musk and Cambodian oud finish it. Bright citrus into dark tobacco and oud. 100 ml, AED 1,355.
Tiziana Terenzi Cas
Tiziana Terenzi Cas is named after the star Cas, "which means the hand of God", and is "inspired by one of the most famous stars of Cassiopea." The house describes it as a pepper perfume: black, pink and green pepper over "the solid woods of Oud and Birch", vanilla, grey amber and musk.
It is the spiciest of the eight. The brand promises "persistence on the skin until the sun comes up again, and perhaps even beyond." 100 ml, AED 1,000.
Tiziana Terenzi Talitha
Tiziana Terenzi Talitha comes from the constellation Ursa Major, recalling how Paolo and Tiziana watched the stars as children with their grandfather Guglielmo. The house built it from "the Ursa pyramid of the Luna collection."
Amalfi lemon, bergamot and pink grapefruit open it; Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, ambergris and leather form the heart; cedarwood, guaiac, vetiver and musk make the base. Citrus and spice with a soft leather finish. 100 ml, AED 1,275.
