I ordered a fragrance as a gift and it arrived in perfect condition. The whole process was simple, fast, and stress-free. Fantastic product and fantastic service.
Hedione smells airy, fresh and delicately jasmine-like, with a soft floral transparency and a quiet green lift. It is one of the most influential synthetic molecules of the last sixty years and the secret diffuser behind a remarkable number of modern fragrances.

Hedione is the Firmenich trade name for methyl dihydrojasmonate, synthesised in 1962. Edmond Roudnitska introduced it to perfumery in Eau Sauvage (1966), where it was used at an unprecedented 2.5 per cent concentration to add radiance and lift. Hedione is a weak olfactory material on its own but acts as a radiant amplifier, making every other note in a composition project more beautifully. It is now used in most modern fragrances in doses ranging from trace to over ten per cent.
Hedione is a heart note and a universal amplifier. Perfumers use it to freshen florals, to extend citrus openings, to bridge natural and synthetic materials, and to give compositions airy modernity.
Hedione performs beautifully across all seasons and genders.
