Tangerine (Citrus reticulata, a mandarin variant) yields a cold-pressed peel oil that is sweeter, juicier, and slightly more candied than mandarin or sweet orange. The most prized tangerine oils come from Sicily, Florida, and Brazil, with regional differences in sweetness and acidity.
