Lustre is a woody composition with a floral centre most people will read as powder rather than flower. Cardamom and orris open it, and the orris is the defining material: cool, rooty and slightly metallic before the wood arrives.
Sandalwood, cedarwood and patchouli occupy the heart and stay there, creamy and dry at once. The base layers myrrh, benzoin, styrax and labdanum into something resinous, with vanilla and tonka bean sweetening the close just enough to keep it comfortable.
