NY Intense, part of Fragrance Du Bois's City Exclusive range, adds petitgrain to the citrus opening alongside bergamot and orange: petitgrain, from the leaves of the bitter orange tree, adds a green-woody-citrus quality that gives the opening more complexity than a simple citrus accord. The "Intense" designation indicates a higher concentration than the standard NY formulation.
Rose, jasmine, and saffron in the heart form a classic floral-oriental accord with saffron adding metallic warmth.
