About Roja Parfums Enigma Pour Homme Parfum

Enigma Pour Homme spends very little time on its opening. Bergamot flashes and gives way, and what follows is a floral heart of heliotrope, jasmine, geranium and rose de mai that reads powdery and faintly cherry-like rather than fresh.

The base is the reason people buy it. Cognac and tobacco sit at the centre, sweetened by vanilla and benzoin until the effect turns unmistakably boozy, with ambergris, sandalwood and patchouli underneath stopping it from becoming sugary. A cold-weather composition that projects hard for hours, then settles close without ever quite disappearing.
