Xerjoff Two UAE Exclusive: Passion Fruit, Osmanthus and Oud in the Green Bottle

Parfum Central

Xerjoff Two is the fruity oriental of the Xerjoff UAE Exclusive collection: passion fruit, peach and lemon up top, osmanthus and violet in the heart, and oud, leather, vanilla and musk underneath. It comes in a green flacon taken from the UAE flag, and Xerjoff describes it as "the fruit of a blend of traditional Arabic perfumery notes and exotic ingredients from far-flung lands". Of the seven numbered bottles, Two draws the most searches by name, at around 180 a month on Google Keyword Planner for "xerjoff 2". This guide covers what Two smells like, what osmanthus and tagetes actually are, and how Two differs from the other green bottle, Three.

What is Xerjoff Two?

Two is the second of seven perfumes Xerjoff created in honour of the United Arab Emirates. The house unveiled the set at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai in late October 2025 and released it in December, coinciding with Eid Al Etihad, the UAE's National Day. Xerjoff's own product page titles it "a Dubai boutique exclusive".

Xerjoff calls Two "an intriguing perfume that also acts as a metaphor for the mix of local heritage and cultural diversity that continues to shape the UAE". The idea is in the notes: Arabic staples such as oud and amber, set against fruit and flowers from much further away. Our guide to the Xerjoff UAE Exclusive collection shows where Two sits among all seven.

What does Xerjoff Two smell like?

It opens juicy and tropical, turns soft and floral, and finishes dark and leathery.

Stage Notes What they bring
Top Lemon, passion fruit, peach, cardamom, tagetes A bright, tart, tropical opening with a green spice
Heart Violet, amber, osmanthus Soft, powdery florals with an apricot-like warmth
Base Musk, oud, vanilla, leather A dark, smooth finish with a leathery edge

Passion fruit and peach give Two its first impression. Fragrantica's launch coverage describes "bright notes of lemon, peach, and passionfruit" opening the composition.

Tagetes is a marigold. The species used in perfumery is native to South America, and its oil, sold as marigold oil, is used in perfume. It adds a green, slightly fruity sharpness that keeps the passion fruit from turning sweet.

Cardamom sits alongside them, a familiar spice in the Gulf that links the fruit to the Arabic side of the blend.

Leather and oud close it. Oud is the resinous wood at the centre of Arabic perfumery, and leather gives it a smooth, worn texture. Vanilla and musk soften both.

What is osmanthus?

Osmanthus is the flower in Two's heart, and one of the most searched notes in perfume, with around 5,400 US searches a month for "osmanthus perfume". It comes from a shrub known in English as sweet osmanthus, sweet olive or tea olive. The plant is native to China and to parts of South and Southeast Asia, where its flowers also flavour tea and jam.

Its scent is the reason perfumers love it: the small flowers smell of ripe peaches or apricots. In Two that apricot warmth bridges the peach in the opening and the amber in the heart, so the fruit and the flowers feel like one idea rather than two.

Xerjoff Two vs Xerjoff Three: the two green bottles

Two and Three share green glass, and both open with fruit. After that they part ways.

Xerjoff Two Xerjoff Three
Glass Green Green
Character Fruity oriental Fruity floral
Top Lemon, passion fruit, peach, cardamom, tagetes Davana, pear, quince, bergamot, red fruits
Heart Violet, amber, osmanthus Violet, lavender, benzoin, rose
Base Musk, oud, vanilla, leather Oud, cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, cashmere wood, sugar, amber, musk, tonka
Mood Darker and leathery Brighter and cheerful

Both list oud, but Two pairs it with leather for a darker finish, while Xerjoff Three wraps it in sandalwood, tonka and sugar. Pick Two for evenings, Three for daytime.

Who Xerjoff Two suits

Two is for people who want fruit with substance. It works well if you:

  1. Like tropical fruit notes but want them grounded by something dark.
  2. Enjoy osmanthus, violet or other soft, powdery florals.
  3. Want oud that feels approachable, softened by fruit and vanilla.
  4. Like a leathery finish on an evening fragrance.

We would save Two for warm evenings, gatherings and gifting, with two or three sprays to start.

How to wear Xerjoff Two

Fruit notes are brightest in the first hour, so Two rewards being worn where people will notice the opening: a dinner, a gathering, an evening out. Spray the neck and wrists, and let the passion fruit settle before you judge it, because the osmanthus and leather only show once the top notes fade. On a hot day, one spray on clothing keeps the fruit from turning syrupy. If Two is your first perfume with oud, our guide on how to wear oud perfume has practical tips on quantity and placement.

Is Xerjoff Two a good first oud?

For many people, yes. Oud on its own can feel heavy or medicinal to a new nose. In Two it arrives last, under passion fruit, peach, osmanthus and vanilla, so you meet the fruit first and the wood later. If you already know you love oud, Five gives you more of it alongside rose. If you are curious but cautious, Two is the gentler way in.

The green flacon

Two's glass is the deep green of the UAE flag, and Xerjoff says the colour also recalls "the green nuances of the scent". The bottle keeps the house's faceted shape and pointed gold cap, with a gold "X" plaque in the middle and a gold numeral 2 near the base. Its surface is hand-painted with swirling brushstrokes that Xerjoff likens to the moving sands of the desert. At launch the seven were offered as 100 ml bottles or as a commemorative set of seven 50 ml bottles.

Two and the rest of the collection

If Two appeals, the other oud numbers are worth a look. Xerjoff Five pairs oud with rose, saffron and caramel, and our guide to Xerjoff Five explains it in full. For something smoky without oud, our guide to Xerjoff Six covers the bakhoor-inspired black bottle. Our article on Dubai exclusive perfumes rounds up other bottles made for the Emirates.

Both come in green flacons and open with fruit. Two is a darker fruity oriental with oud and leather. Three is a brighter fruity floral with rose, lavender, sandalwood and a touch of sugar.

Is Xerjoff Two for men or women?

Both. Xerjoff presents Two as a perfume for anyone, and Parfum Central lists it as unisex.

How many sprays of Xerjoff Two should I use?

Two or three sprays are enough. Start on the neck and wrists and add one more on clothing if you want the fruit to carry.

Is Xerjoff Two a good first oud perfume?

For many people, yes. The oud arrives last, under passion fruit, peach, osmanthus and vanilla, so it feels softer than oud on its own.

The short answer

Xerjoff Two is the green-bottled fruity oriental of Xerjoff's UAE Exclusive collection: passion fruit, peach and lemon over osmanthus and violet, with oud, leather and vanilla in the base. It is Xerjoff's picture of heritage meeting faraway ingredients, juicy at first and dark later. If that balance sounds right for you, you can find Xerjoff Two at Parfum Central, shipped worldwide from Dubai.
