    About Frederic Malle Cologne Bigarade EDC

    Cologne Bigarade EDC is a related but distinct fragrance from the Bigarade Concentree EDT that also appears in the Editions de Parfums catalog. Where Bigarade Concentree carries an unusually complex multi-material structure, Cologne Bigarade is deliberately spare: bitter orange with cardamom and pink pepper in the top, then hay and cedar.

    As an Eau de Cologne it is designed for spraying liberally. Bitter orange (bigarade) is the classical Cologne note, used in virtually every eighteenth-century Cologne as the foundational citrus. Hay extends the freshness of the citrus into a dry finish, with cedar providing woody structure. Longevity is four to six hours at EDC concentration.
