Irish Leather takes the classical leather fragrance structure and relocates it to the Atlantic northwest. Juniper berry in the top provides a dry, slightly piney-resinous citrus quality; pink pepper adds sharp, dry spice; clary sage contributes an herbal, slightly musty aromatic quality. Green mate adds a slightly grassy, bitter freshness. Together the opening reads as cool, slightly wild, and distinctly northern.

Iris in the heart adds powdery, slightly rooty structure; leather introduces dry, animalic depth. The birch note, like birch tar, carries a smoky, slightly medicinal quality that references traditional Nordic leather processing. Tonka bean in the base provides warm, sweet-vanilla support; tobacco adds dry, slightly fermented depth; musk extends the drydown. Eight to ten hours on skin.
